You wear your first aligner for approximately two weeks before replacing it with the next one in the set. This process repeats multiple times until you reach the last aligner. The number of aligners you go through depends on the severity of your orthodontic issues.
Although SureSmile aligners give you the flexibility to remove them as needed, we recommend that you wear your aligner for 22 to 23 hours a day for the fastest and most efficient results. You can take the aligner out when eating, brushing your teeth, or cleaning it, but should plan to wear it while sleeping. We leave it up to you whether you want to remove your aligner for special occasions, such as weddings or professional events.
